Daily life
Those living in North Korea have been told that everything they do for every day of their life is for the good of their country. The people are told they are still at war with the world and everyone envies them. The people living in the DPRK are told they are the happiest country in the entire world. Every day they are told that their Dear Leader loves them more than anything else and that they are prized possessions. The DPRK and its citizens work every day in order to uphold the ideology that they are in control of their future. Typical work week is six days and there is one day of mandatory volunteer work. Families are close knit and supportive, however the DPRK has a three generation rule. Should a person do something against the state, the children and grandchildren will bear the full weight of the punishment.

Religion
Religion: Traditionally Buddhist and Confucianist, some Christian and syncretic Chondogyo (Religion of the Heavenly Way).
*Self directed religious activities are almost nonexistent. There are government-sponsored religious groups that exist to provide the illusion of religious freedoms. "Though there are Buddhist monks and nuns in the country, North Koreans do not have much religious freedom." Source
The true religion of The Democratic People's Republic of Korea seems to be the Juche Ideology: 주체. It is based off of Kim Il Sung's idea that "Man is the master of everything and decides everything."
